DIY Mantel Plans

When I built the fireplace in our room, I knew we would need a mantel. After looking at options, I decided to make my own! Using whitewood (super cheap wood) and great staining technique, I was able to make my own. We love how it turned out and it being super easy and expensive makes it even better.
